We would like to take a minute of your time and introduce our classes (Classes Schedule is here) and our new book.
Mixed Media Jewelry Techniques by Lana May & Her Friends.
Seed bead designer and teacher, Lana May has gathered together an intimate group of instructors, who conduct classes at the J.O.G.S. Gems in Tucson, Arizona every February. Our tightly knit group includes multi-award winning jewelry designers in a variety of mediums such as seed beads; wire; polymer clay; beads; metals; glass lamp working and PMC, (Precious Metal Clay). While enjoying a dinner together in 2008, someone brought up the idea that we should collaborate to write a book that would combine our various mediums into unique designs. Such a book would be published to encourage studio jewelers to begin associating with peers of different jewelry making skills, combining design ideas and creating exciting new pieces together. This book is a result of collaborative effort.
